While the war was brewing in Alfhiem, Lucie and Kasai were in Demoria, attending school. This school, strangely named Satania Nexus High, was the main school in Lucifer City. It was a place where all demons of different kinds could attend, no matter their status. It was completely diverse. The students and staff ranged from high-class devils to beast class gargoyle. However, Lucie and Kasai felt an odd aura about the school. No-one is associated with anyone outside the ranking. The high-class Devils hung out with the other high-class devils while the low-class demons stayed close to the low-class demons. Feeling like she had to do something, Lucie decided to talk to one of the high-class devil’s girls.
"Hi, I'm Lucie. I just mov-
"Who does this disgusting human-pet belong to?"
The devil girl said, interrupting Lucie.
Lucie at her with a confused expression.
"Babe, I don't think she understands what you're
saying." A devil boy said with laughing.
"That's understandable. Even if I talk to them in
their own tongue, they won't understand it. They're nothing but idiots."
She said.
Lucie instantly got irritated to the point where she
subconsciously transformed into her purgatory form, but with a slight
difference. Her hair and eyes were only transformed, and she gave off a heat
that would usually melt solid stone. However, everything and everyone around
her was unaffected, which surprised her. Suddenly, Kasai grabbed Lucie's hand
while giving her a worried look.
"Lucie, calm down. You're not used to the atmosphere
here yet. That's why your powers are weakened." She telepathically said to
Lucie.
Lucie slowly calms down and reverts to her original form.
Then, she walks away as if nothing happens. Shocked, Kasai rushes to Lucie's
side to make sure she was alright.
"Kasai, how long do I have to wait before I'm used
to this atmosphere?" Lucie asked.
"It shouldn't be that long. You have the Phoenix'
fires running through your veins."
"Alright, but I'm getting tired of holding back. I
want to use my powers." Lucie said, frustrated.
"Okay, how about we go out on a date to this
cafe?" Kasai said.
Suddenly, Lucie's mood changed completely. She was
ecstatic and happily said "Yes" while jumping on Kasai. As they
walked off, a half-demon girl looked at them with envy in her eyes. As she
tried to follow them secretly, she was pushed out of the way by another
high-class devil girl who was running by while screaming, "Big sister
Malphas.
"Delilah, be careful. You almost touched that
low-class demon, Envy," Malphas replied.
"Oh no, you mean the Nephilim trash. Gross! I liked
this outfit." Delilah yelled out.
Envy gets up and runs past Lucie and Kasai while crying
her eyes out. They look back and sees the high-class devil’s group laughing at
her. Later that day, Lucie went around the school looking for Envy. She looked
everywhere; however, Envy was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, Lucie hears a
faint cry for help. She looked around, thinking she heard things, but she
heard it again. She attempted to follow the faint cry, and found Envy naked,
beaten to near death, and raped.
"Shit!” Lucie said worriedly as she rushed to her
side.
“Please help me." Envy said just before she faints.
Lucie looked up and down Envy’s body for any noticeable
injuries. Thankfully, there wasn’t many, but Lucie was furious.
“Artemis, Neko, Niko, Leah, Naomi(an Oni).” She said
under her breath. Suddenly, five bodies appeared out of her shadow, on one
knee.
“What can we do for you, Lady Lucie?” they said
simultaneously.
“Leah, I want to heal her. Niko, Neko, and Naomi, protect
her and Leah. Artemis, take me inside her mind. I want to see who did this.”
Lucie said while releasing an overwhelmingly, angry pressure.
“Yes, Milady,” they answered as they immediately sprung
into action.
Niko and Neko set a barrier that made it impossible for
others to perceive them. Naomi went to the top of a building to look around
from higher ground. Leah started to heal Envy while Artemis and Lucie entered
her mind. Inside there, Lucie and Artemis witness a cluster of memories. They
learned that Envy was the recently created daughter of Vlad and Meliona but was
adopted by Satania. He called her race, Nephilim. A Nephilim is a half-demon
and half-angel, a hybrid, that has unlimited power and high adaptability. Being
the only one of her kind, she is often bullied by the other demons because
Envy’s kind is unknown. All they know is that she is half-demon.
“So, they did this unspeakable act for that reason.
Unforgivable!” Lucie thought to herself.
“Lady Lucie, It seems like we’re arriving at the recent
memory. Please be prepared for anything. This must’ve been extremely traumatic
for her.” Artemis said.
“Okay,” Lucie replied.
They dove into the memory and saw what happened. The
high-class Devils’ group from the school found and dragged her to that alley. Once
there, the guys attacked her while the girls watched. Then, Malphas said
“A lowly half breed like you doesn’t deserve to wear
clothes like mine. Strip her.”
Hence the reason why she was naked and bruised up. Sadly,
they did something else that Lucie didn’t think could happen. The male demons
who were beating on Envy wanted some kind of payment. However, instead of
money, they wanted Envy’s body. The girls allowed it and walked off while
saying, “Enjoy.” Then, as Envy laid there crying and barely breathing for air,
the male demons proceed to take advantage of her.
“Artemis, let’s go,” Lucie said as she held back her
anger.
“Yes, milady,” Artemis replied.
Suddenly, they appeared outside beside the fully healed,
sleeping Envy. Heartbroken, Lucie strikes the walls behind her, causing a fire
that destroys the wall.
“Naomi, carry E back to the castle. It’s time for the
princess of the demon world to return home.” Lucie said.
Naomi heard Lucie's orders and jumped down from the top
of the building and landed right in front of Envy. She picked her up with ease
and waited for Lucie. Lucie got up and walked over to the Nekomata twins. They
let down the barrier and transformed into cat forms. Then, they climbed onto
Lucie’s shoulders and purred on her face, which calmed her down a little. Then,
almost instantly, they all took off running to the castle. Mia taught Lucie the
Flash step technique. She completed three stages of the flash step; Flash step,
Shadow step, and God step. Thanks to this technique, Lucie avoided the demon’s
gazes, because Envy was still naked, and they didn’t have anything to cover her
body.
After ten minutes of running, they made it to the gates
of the castle, where they met some trouble. The high-class devils from the
school and their parents, were at the gate waiting for entry to a welcome party
for her. However, as she attempted to enter the castle’s gates, she was stopped
by a new guard who didn’t recognize Lucie. In a hurry to talk with Satania,
Lucie ignored the guard and tried to walk in again, but was stopped by the same
guard. Then, the trouble came up and said
“Don’t you think you’re being a little too bold there,
human?” One of them said, causing everyone to laugh.
“Where is your master? He should have you on a leash.”
Another one said as everyone continues to laugh
Annoyed and irritated, Artemis summons a gun to her hand
points it right at one of the high-class devil kids, causing everybody to stop.
However, as she’s about to pull the trigger, a high-class devil noble shouts,
“Enough!”. The guard, that stopped Lucie, gave a salute as if he was saluting
his superior officer. Everybody turns to the left to see a well-dressed
nobleman and wife standing there. Suddenly, Malphas and Delilah hid behind
them.
“Father, punish them. They were trying to sneak into the
party and ruin it for everybody.” Malphas said with a scheming look.
“Really, that’s all I need to know. Guard! Take them
away.” The nobleman said.
“Yessir, Lord Damacus.” The guard said.
“Disregard that order.” Another voice said.
“Who dares!” Damacus said as he turns around.
Immediately, he regrets his words. It was the queen, Satania.
“I was wondering why it took you so long to show, but now
I know why,” Solaris said as she lands beside Lucie.
“Lucie, I apologize for my foolish mistake. I didn’t make
sure all of the guards were informed of you properly.” Satania said as she
knelt in front of Lucie.
Everybody was shocked by the sight of their queen,
lowering her head to a lowly human.
“Move out of the way.” A voice ordered.
Everybody looked back and turned pale at the sight of the
six generals of the Lucifer. Each of them rules one city that is named after
them in Demoria. They were Asmodeus of Asmodeus city, Mammon of Mammon City,
Belphegor of Belphegor city, Satan of Satan city, Abaddon of Abaddon city, and
Leviathan of Leviathan city. Along with Satania, aka Lucifer of Lucifer city,
they are the strongest Demons and guardians of Demoria. Suddenly, they did the
same thing as Satania did. They knelt down in front of Lucie, surprising the
nobles again. Some instantly grew afraid of Lucie. However, some of the nobles
began to come up with ridiculous accusations.
“Useless worms think you can talk to the queen of Jan-gu
with such insolence,” Satania said angrily.
“Auntie Satania, don’t worry about them. We have a bigger
problem. Artemis, show her.” Lucie said with a serious expression.
Artemis stepped over to Satania and placed a hand on her
head. This allowed her to transmit the images that she got from Envy’s mind
into Satania. Witnessing the horrific scene, Satania released her full power
without any sign of calming down.
“You bastards. First, you insult my great-niece and her
familiars, in which you disgrace the Lucrada family name. But, You dirty
bastards have the audacity to assaulted my daughter.” She said under her voice.
Scared, the demon generals moved away from Satania immediately.
“Mother, what’s wrong?” A voice said as she appeared
beside Naomi. She was the first princess, Raven. Suddenly, she got angry too.
“Do she know what happened?” Lucie thought to herself.
Unlike most demons, Raven has amazing senses. She smelt
the scent of men's hormones coming from Envy’s body, which was thought to be
hidden by Naomi.
“WHO DID THIS TO MY BABY SISTER?” Raven yelled, releasing
her full power. Now, there were two dangerous devils angry, which affected
Demoria’s atmosphere itself. The generals looked around and saw how powerful
their queen and her daughter actually were. Like Titania, Satania and her
children, Raven and Krow, were Jan-gu hybrids. This made them the most feared
demons in Demoria. No one would dare to go against them.
“What do you mean, Lady Raven. You don’t have a sister.”
Damacus said with fear in his voice.
“You may not know this, but this girl here is my adopted
daughter,” Satania said.
“This half-demon!” Malphas yelled out with fear.
“Watch your mouth, girl, but yes. She’s the daughter of
my brother and his wife, Vlad, and Meliona,”
Suddenly, the fear that was instilled in generals grew
large enough to make them faint. The demon nobles and their families stood
there, confused. None of them knew nothing of Vlad, Meliona, Jan-gu, or the
Lucrada Clan, but this was common among the demon generals. The Jan-gu and
their angels stayed in Eden for the past three thousand years. The only ones
who knew of them were the Jan-gu hybrids and the members of the Lucrada Clan.
"Come inside the castle. I'll give you an
explanation." Satania said as she leads the nobles inside the castle.
Cautiously, the nobles followed her, and Lucie went with Raven to help Envy,
who remained unconscious. A door opens to a ballroom that was supposed to be
the venue for Lucie and Kasai's welcoming party, but instead, it was used as an
interrogation room. Satania, knowingly, stares at Damacus and his family with a
bloodlust even demons and devils would die from the look.
"Why is she staring at us? Is she perhaps still
upset about the disrespectful words I gave Lady Lucie? Or, perhaps she thinks I
hired somebody to assault her daughter? Maybe one of my idiot kids did
something, and she knows it?"
Suddenly, Malphas, Damacus eldest daughter, walked out
from her family and prostrated in front of Satania.
"My queen. Please forgive my sister and me for all
the wrong we have done to your daughter. If we would've known she was a
daughter of the throne, we wouldn't have done that to her. If you allow me to
ask, can you please explain to me about her?" She asked.
"So you know, I'm half-demon. The other half is
Jan-gu; you may know them as Origins. They possess powers and abilities far
greater than any other race. One of these powers is called 'Creation'’ This
power, in particular, is the reason why the worlds and races exist."
Satania as she calmed down.
"What does this history lesson about some extinct
race have to do with Envy?" Delilah asked, rudely.
"Who said they were extinct? They're still trillions
of them, and they're not going to die anytime soon. Anyway, Vladimir, my big
brother, and his wife, feeling adventurous, felt like they needed to create a
new race. However, they couldn’t think of one in particular. So, they decided
to mixed DNA of two of the most opposite races; Angel and Demon DNA.
Ironically, this combination gave birth to a being of demonic and angelic power
called.
“Nephilim,” Malphas said.
“Correct, you, your sister, and your friends attacked the
only Nephilim in this universe. Lucky for you, she hasn’t learned how to
control her powers, but you still should’ve treated her as she is, a princess
of the demons. As a matter of fact, a Princess of Jan-gu.”
A sense of fear filled the room while the ignorance of
the nobles died.
“So, can I assume you all understood the weight?” Satania
asked.
The nobles looked at her with a confused look. Satania
sighed with disbelief.
“Nephilim has the powers of both demons and angels. Our
high magical capabilities and their high fighting and tactics capabilities.
Also, while being able to adapt. Meaning, she has an infinite amount of
potential. She could destroy any of my generals with ease.”
Delilah and the others felt a breeze of coldness run down
their spines. Meanwhile, Raven and Lucie were in Envy’s room, waiting for her
to wake up.
“So, Lucie, how did you and my cousin meet?” Raven asked
curiously.
Lucie thought about it. Suddenly, she started blushing
with embarrassment.
“We met at the entrance exams at the academy.” She said,
bashfully. Somehow, looking back on that day made Lucie embarrassed. She felt
ashamed of how she acted back then, as if she had grown in the couple of days
she been in Demoria. This is probably a side effect of her body becoming more
adjusted to the Phoenix’s power. Strangely enough, Lucie didn’t realize the
changes.
“Ooooooo, something else happened. Spill the details.”
Raven said, nosily.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. Nothing else
happened. I especially didn’t straddle him in his sleep and waited for him to
wake up.” Lucie ranted.
“Okay, I’ll pretend not to hear that. Anyways, is it true
that you and two other women married him?” Raven said as she slowly backs away.
Lucie nodded and showed her the ring Reo gave her. It was
a gold ring with three long crystals surrounding one round diamond, making a Y
shape.
“He said, ‘It signifies the four of us.’ However, none of
us got it at first.”
“So, what does it mean?” Raven asked enthusiastically.
“The three of us holds him down without us who knows what
would happen to him. He and Anko have been through a lot,” She said with a
concerned look.
“Hey, what’s wrong?”
“Reo and Anko went through so much in the last week.
First, they lost their fathers in a massacre, caused by the organization they
swore to serve. Then, the same organization framed the massacre on them. Now,
they’re on Caleaxia to learn how to fully control their power. I’m just worried
that I won’t be able to keep up with them.”
“Why would you say that?”
“Well, you see, I’m not as strong as I make myself seem.
I’m just human—nothing special about us. We’re easily the weakest of the entire
universe. Our magical capabilities and SP powers were gifts given by the gods,
but those gifts have limits.”
Raven looked at Lucie with confusion.
“For example, the ability to absorb and utilize magic
energy was given to us humans by the Gods. But, according to Ira, they can take
it away if they wanted to.”
“So, basically, you fear of losing your magic?” Raven
said as she tried to make sense of Lucie’s feelings.
“Yes, but not for any selfish reasons. You see, my power
over fire comes from a Phoenix. However, I only can access around ten percent
of its power.”
“So, you can’t burn holes into other dimensions, or
survive in space,” Raven said.
“What!”
“Did you not know? Phoenixes are a part of the race
called Celestials. Celestials have almost the same powers that the Jan-gu have.
They created the stars that everybody in the universe can see. Also, know as
the gates to other worlds.”
“Huh? Gates to other worlds? What do you mean?”
“The stars you see in every dimension are connected.
These act as passages for the souls of those who experience death but
reincarnates instead of going to the afterlife. And, I would tell you more, but
by the looks of it, you probably can’t handle any more big information.
Anyways, Phoenixes can easily open holes anywhere.”
Lucie, speechless, slowly fell deeper into depression.
She came to a realization of how weak she really was. She felt like all her
hard work to get stronger was worthless. As she closed her eyes, she felt three
hands grab on hers. She immediately opened them and saw the people she cares
about the most. These hands were Reo, Anko, and Kasai’s spirits from her ring.
Reo imbued their rings with Link magic. This spell was similar to the Familiar
linking spell, but this doesn’t link their memories. The rings link the four of
them whenever one of them seemed like they’re in distress. That way, they could
be with each other even when apart.
“Lucie. Lucie. Are you okay?” Raven asked worriedly.
“Huh, Yeah. I’m okay. I was just having a self-reflecting
moment, but you wouldn’t know about that being a demon. It’s a
“Process that open the natural paths in the bodies of
every living being, which in turn, strengthens the body and soul. Also, known
as The Cultivation Process.” Raven interrupts Lucie.
Lucie, shocked, asks, “How?”
“That process wasn’t created by humans. It was taught to
humans by higher beings like us. But, Humans just took the credit for it.
Despicable.”
“Wow, you really don’t like humans,” Lucie said
sarcastically as if she was offended by Raven’s words.
Suddenly, Raven realized she said too much, and offended
Lucie.
“I’m so sorry. I forgot that you were technically still
human for now.” She said nervously.
“For now? What do you mean?” Lucie asked curiously.
“Well, you being the wife of a Jan-gu, your body has to
adjust to their conditions of life. Basically, you’re granted some of their
powers and abilities. Plus, the Phoenix powers are changing you into a
celestial being. And, now that I think about it, that’s probably why you can’t
use more than ten percent of the power you received.”
“Really, so how would you go about speeding up the
process?”
“Are you sure you want to speed up the process?”
Lucie thought back to when she lost to One, and how
horrible it felt to be thrown around like a rag doll. She hasn’t told anybody,
but truthfully, that experience traumatized her a little. She felt completely
useless. Ever since, she has been hoping to find a way to increase her strength
and power.
She looked at Raven with a serious expression and said,
“How do I speed up the process?” Raven smiled.
“Alright, let’s us begin,” Raven said as Raven snapped
her fingers.
Suddenly, Lucie, Envy, Kasai, Satania, Solaris, and the
nobles were standing in the middle of nowhere.
“She finally broke out of her funk. Took long enough.”
Solaris said.
“Huh,” Lucie said, confused.
“Let me explain. The reason why you couldn’t use your
fire is because of this.” Sol said as she reached towards Lucie. Suddenly,
Lucie felt something being pulled out of her.
“This is a device that seals your power and mana. Kaiser
designed it to keep certain things down around a certain time of the year for
him”
“I didn’t need to know that,” Lucie said with disgust.
“No, no, no, nothing sex... Anyway, Jan-gu has times of
the year where their power is overcharged. This overcharge needs to be
released. And, sometimes
“Nope. UN-UH. I’M NOT LISTENING. LALALALA.” Lucie yelled
childishly as she blocks her ear from being soiled by her Grandmother-in-law,
who looked like she in her twenties.
“Fine, long story short, your powers are back with none
of that God blood(Mana) in you. Let’s get started. Power up to your max, and
stay like that for the duration.”
“Are you sure? I don’t want to burn down the castle.”
Lucie said concernedly.
“Don’t worry about it. This room is like the one on your
Hikojima, a void room. You’re completely cut off from Demoria for the next
three hours.”
“Huh, why three hours?”
“Well, today is a school night, and three hours should be
enough to train and enhance your and E’s powers while showing the nobles what
you two are actually made of,” Satania said.
Lucie didn’t understand it and just went along with it.
She closed her eyes and concentrated on releasing the fire. Her hand lit on
fire as if it was a match. Then, the fire died down, leaving her hand in a
plasmatic form. In awe, Raven got a little closer. Suddenly, there was a spike
in Lucie’s firepower. It transformed Lucie’s body into plasma-like before.
Truthfully, she looks like Sol when she first learned how to control her
enhanced powers. Raven, still in awe, was excited.
“Is that the peak of your power? I could’ve sworn you
were a lot stronger now.” Sol said, trying to agitate Lucie.
“She’s right. This is nowhere near my full power. I need
to let go of the human limitations placed on me, and breakthrough to my full
power.” Lucie thought to herself.
Suddenly, Lucie’s body emerged in a light.
“So, You finally decided to make a visit, Lucie
Tachibana.” A voice appeared in her head.
“Who said that?” She asked.
“You should know. You are the one who gave me my name.”
Lucie thought herself trying to remember this voice.
Suddenly, a memory came to her. It was during the second day after arriving on
Hikojima for the first time. She was summoning her first familiar, the Phoenix
who blessed her.
“Ruby! Ruby, is that you?” Lucie said.
“So, you do remember me? Glad to know that.”
“Of course, I remember you. You’re a part of me.” Lucie
said happily.
A fire sparked and grew into a large fire, shaped like a
bird. This bird-shaped flame was Ruby. Then, Ruby transformed into a girl with
red, blazing hair and glowing eyes. She looked just like Lucie when she in her
Purgatory mode. This form left Lucie in both awe and confusion.
“What’s wrong?” Ruby asked.
“Oh, nothing. I was just surprised by your appearance.
You look like
“Your Purgatory mode. Yes, your purgatory mode is based
on my Humana form. Oh, you probably don’t know, but Humana is how we say human
in the celestial tongue.”
“It’s kind of funny, but I did know that. Just now, I
learned the ways of the Celestials and all their abilities.” Lucie said.
“Looks like our connection growing stronger and stronger
by the second. However, that doesn’t give me enough time to say
‘Congratulations, on your Marri- ’
Ruby disappears into Lucie’s body.
“Thank you,” Lucie said silently to herself as she began
to transform. Suddenly, her plasmatic body turned back into her regular one.
Her hair was a dark red, completely different from her purgatory mode or Ruby.
Her body gave off a burning sensation to the people around her. Her eyes were
glowing a holy light. She was completely transformed into a Celestial.
As the light from the transformation dimmed, Lucie is
skin had a slight glow to it like a new star until it and her eyes went back to
normal. However, during her transformation, she, unknowingly, burned off her
clothes. Sol and the others looked with both embarrassment and amazement.
“Lucie, here. Put this on.” Kasai said as she held out
her hand. In her hand was a small roll of fireproof living cloth.
“What is it?” Lucie asked as she took out her hand.
“It’s a specially made living cloth similar to my outfit.
This should be able to withstand incineration from your fire form. It made from
a refined dragon-scale string, courtesy of Ryuu and Shiro, combined with
nanobots and enchantments.” Kasai said as the cloth-covered Lucie's body.
“What kind of enchantments?” Lucie asked curiously.
The roll of cloth formed a two-layered outfit on Lucie’s
body, similar to Kasai’s. The lower layer of the outfit fitted Lucie’s body
like the jumpsuit Kasai wore before jumping into the portal to Demoria. At the
same time, the top layer was a knee-length Kimono like Kasai. The only
differences were the color and the ability to transform with Lucie's abilities.
The next day on a bus, Lucie was playing with her new
power while Kasai sat beside her, bored.
“Can you explain to me why we’re on a bus, Lady Lucie?”
Kasai asked, trying to start a conversation.
Lucie ignored her question and continued to discover new
powers. Recently learning her powers are similar to the Jan-gu and soon will
become a hybrid like Raven, she was excited to find out what she could do.
However, she also learned from Ruby she couldn’t manifest the same output as
Reo and Anko.
“Lady Lucie, are you listening?” Kasai asked again. Lucie
continued to ignore her. Suddenly, Kasai did something unexpected. She grabbed
Lucie’s face and gave her a long kiss on the lips, surprising Lucie.
“Okay, okay, I heard you, but I was ignoring you to get
you to call me by my name. Seriously, we are married now. We won’t kill you for
calling us by our names. And, that goes for all of the familiars. We’re family.
Call us by our names without the lord and lady titles.”Lucie explained with an
annoyed tone.
“Sorry, La- Lucie. You’re right.” Kasai said.
“No need to apologize. I was in the wrong. Anyway, I
don’t know. This seems like a field trip on earth.”
“A field trip. I wonder where?” Kasai said.
“I heard we were going to the hell arena in the hell
domain.” A strange girl said as she looked over the seat.
“What! Why?” Lucie and Kasai yelled loudly.
“Hey, You two back there. Be quiet, or I’ll be forced to
separate you two.” one of their teachers said.
Lucie and Kasai instantly covered their mouths. Then,
they looked up and behind them to see the mysterious girl, but she was gone,
which made them wonder who they were talking to the whole trip. Five hours
later, their bus stopped and opened its doors.
“Alright, everyone off the bus.” The main teacher said.
Against their better judgment, the students got off the
bus slowly. Once everyone was off the bus, the bus drove off quickly, leaving
the students and teachers in the fiery blazes of hell. Immediately, complaints
shot around quickly.
“Everybody! Pay attention.” The main teacher yelled.
The students looked at him as they became silent.
“Welcome to this year’s survival test. This test is to
test both your survival and fighting abilities. You will have three rounds. The
first round will be a race between all the students in the school. Then, the
top thirty of you will be put up against each against to see who can cast the
best spells. Finally, the top two will battle for the crown. The winner will be
granted a title by the queen and given a chance to go on a date with Princess
Raven.”
Suddenly, the boys in the group got really excited, along
with some of the girls. During their excitement, somebody coughed really loudly.
It was almost like they were surprised. Lucie and Kasai smiled as if they knew
who coughed.
“Okay, settle down. There are more details about this
test.”
The students, instantly, silenced themselves out of
anticipation for more good news. Sadly, it was horrible news.
“This year, along with the other school’s students from
the other cities, the queen also brought in guest proctors from her family.”
The teacher said as Sol, Celestia, Kaiser, and another kitsune appeared behind
him.
Immediately, Lucie and Kasai’s faces went dark and cold.
Hoping they saw things, they pinched each other. Sadly, they weren’t dreaming.
Suddenly, Kaiser walked to the front.
“Hello, little demons, my name is Kaiser D. Lucrada. Here
to my right is my wife, Sol D. Lucrada. And, to my left is Celestia Lucrada and
Selha Lucrada. As you can tell, we’re a part of the Lucrada Clan, known across
the universe. But, today, our job is to find, defeat, and capture you. Thinning
the herd in a way. But, don’t worry, we’ll be limiting our strength with
these.” Kaiser said as he held up three objects. They were a modified AGMS,
Gravity wristbands, and the device Sol used on Lucie.
“So, prepare yourself accordingly, because we don’t pull
our punches when it comes to our nieces’ womanhood.”
Then, the student immediately paired up with people they
thought they could work with easily. As they were moving, they heard a faint
whimpering amongst them. Lucie and Kasai both were upset, but Kasai seemed more
upset. Kasai was mumbling to herself while wrapping herself with her tails.
“No, no, no, this can’t be happening. My mother found me.
You think she knows I’m here. She probably brought brother and sister with her.
They're probably sitting and waiting for me to mess up. What can I d-
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Lucie asked as she knelt down.
Noticing Lucie’s worried expression, Kasai took a deep breath.
“Lucie, what I’m about to tell you, please don’t tell the
others. Let me when I’m ready.”
“Kasai, What are you-
“Promise me,” Kasai said loudly.
“Okay,” Lucie replied.
“Lucie, I’m one of the four princesses of the Youkai
dimension,” Kasai said.
Lucie looked at her with shock.
“Kasai, I didn’t kno-
“Please, let me continue,” Kasai said softly as if her
will began to waver. Lucie nodded.
“As I said, I’m one of the four princesses of the Youkai
dimension. In the human year 1900 AD, I ran away from home.”
“Why?” Lucie asked.
“Because my mother agreed to one of the Kings’ requests
for my hand in marriage. And, without my consent.”
“What! Who?”
“His name was King Garuda, the lord of the skies. That
what his people called him but, amongst our people and the others, he was known
Garuda the cruel.”
Lucie shocked.
“That’s enough out of you, young lady. You shouldn’t talk
about your future husband like that.” Selha said as she appeared beside Lucie
and Kasai.
“Who are you?” Lucie said as she put her arms around
Kasai.
“Lucie, meet my mother. The Southern region of the Youkai
World queen, Queen Selha Lucrada.” Kasai said.
Then, Something inside Lucie’s mind snapped. But, surprisingly,
she didn’t express any kind of emotion. She was as calm as a flowing stream.
However, Kasai knew this was never good.
“So, it was you. You’re the one who gave your daughter’s
hand in marriage to a man who she didn’t love.”
“Love. Love for royalty like us is only a luxury. A tool
for advancement for our kingdoms, but I don’t expect for a commoner like y-
Lucie punched Selha in the mouth, launching her back into
Kaiser. Sol, Celestia, and teachers looked towards the place from where Selha
flew and saw an enraged Lucie with students cowering. The teachers were
surprised to see the power that Lucie was radiating, but it was another day for
the guest proctors. Maybe, it was their vast experiences they acquired over the
years, or they probably knew how to hide their true expressions in a dangerous
situation like this.
“Lucie, calm down. I’m sure we can settle whatever Selha
said. I’m sure she didn’t even mean it.” Sol said calmly in an attempt to calm
Lucie down.
“Big Brother Kai, why is Big Sister Sol trying to calm
down that little girl?” Celestia whispered.
“That little girl is one of the queens of the Jan-gu.” He
responded as he woke Selha up.
“What? You mean to tell me my brother married another
girl. What about Meliona and Velvet?” She said excitedly.
“No, not him. His grandson took over the throne, along
with his three wives. Those are two of them.
“Grandson?” she asked.
“Reiko’s son, Re-
Sol flies into Kaiser.
“Wow, she overpowered a Jan-gu/goddess hybrid. She’s
stronger than she looks. This is going to be fun.” Celestia said as she smiled.
Then, she charged full speed at Lucie and disappeared.
Lucie closed her eyes and used her other senses to scan her surroundings. She
felt a strange power similar to hers behind her. Unfortunately, Lucie couldn’t
react to Celestia’s movements. Celestia attempted to punch Lucie, but Envy got
in between them, catching Celestia's fist.
“Enough! We don’t have time for this. We’re right in the
middle of receiving information about the test. You want to fight. Do it later,
during the tournament.” She said.
Instantly, Lucie calmed down, and Celestia stopped her
attack.
“I apologize, my queen. I’ve gotten a little too excited
when I saw your power. Please forgive my insolence.” Celestia said.
“No, Queen Celestia. The blame is on me. I didn’t control
my anger properly and took it out on my family. This is not the way a queen
should act.” Lucie responded as she bowed.
Suddenly, Celestia started to laugh. Then, Lucie started
too. However, for Lucie, it was like it was her instinct to laugh.
“Ahem!” One of the teachers said.
Lucie and the others looked at him.
“ I think you should know the test has started. And, you
fell far behind everyone.”
Lucie and Envy looked around and saw that everyone was
gone. Worried about falling too far behind, Lucie grabbed Kasai, who was still
upset about her mother being there.
“Kasai, I know you’re upset, but you have to move.” She
said as she effortlessly dragged Kasai. However, Kasai just sat there quietly.
”Pathetic. To think my own daughter could be so useless.
Unthinkable.” Selha said as she appeared with two other Kitsune, one male and
one female.
“Well, mother, she was never the fighting type in the
first place.” The male Kitsune said.
“Nor the hunter type.” The female Kitsune said.
“That’s enough, Shusui (the boy), Sui (the girl). Your
sister might not have the talent you two have, but she makes up for that with
her good looks.” Selha said.
“You here for round two,” Lucie said as she got in a
fighting stance.
“Idiot girl, you should respect your elders. I,
especially, deserve as much.”
“A person who uses their daughter to progress in life deserves
the current attitude I’m giving you,” Lucie said.
“You brat!” Shusui yells as he charges at Lucie.
Instantly, Lucie dodged him and shot a large fire blast. Suddenly, Sui rushed
in between the fire and her brother.
“Seriously, you're crazy. You almost killed my brother
with your flames.” She said as she dispersed the flames.
“Thanks, sis.” He said.
Lucie sighed. “I don’t have time for this.” She thought
to herself. Then, she looked over at Envy with a concerned look.
“You should pay attention,” Selha said as she appeared
behind Lucie, striking her on her neck.
“Lucie!” Envy yelled out as she rushed to her side, but
she was attacked by Sui. Luckily, Envy was able to dodge her perfectly.
Suddenly, Shusui appeared behind Envy and attacked her, launching her into a
fire pit.
“E!” Lucie yelled.
Then, Selha grabbed Lucie by her hair and dragged her to
the same fire pit.
“Now, watch Kasai. Watch as I kill your pet human.” Selha
said crazily.
Suddenly, Kasai got up and released a powerful fiery
aura.
“What did you call her?” Kasai asked.
“She called her your pet. Frankly, that’s the only reason
I would think of you keeping one beside you. You know humans are inferior to us
in many ways.” Sui said while using an ability known amongst the Youkai. It’s
called Lurk. The ability allows the user to expels the presence of themselves
completely. However, there’s only one kind of Youkai who can use this ability,
Nurarihyons. To be able to use this ability should be impossible for any other
Youkai.
“What's wrong, Sister. Scared.”
Kasai reached out her hand and grabbed Sui’s neck.
“Quiet, you’re annoying me, Sui,” Kasai said as she
looked at Sui with a fiery expression.
“Put her down, Sister,” Shusui said.
“You’re not in the position to negotiate with me. As far
as I can tell, you are on the short side of the stick.”Kasai said.
“Oh really,” Selha said.
Selha, then, threw Lucie into the fire pit, where Envy
fell. Instantly, The fires around everyone rose and flew towards Kasai,
engulfing her.
“Sui!” Selha yelled.
Suddenly, Selha and Shusui saw someone walking out of the
fire while dragging Sui by her neck. She wore a blue and black kimono with a
fox mask on her face.“I’m offended, mother. You call my sister’s name and
completely forgot about me. Did you already disown me as your daughter?” She
said as she let go of Sui. Then, she moved her mask to the side of her head,
revealing Kasai’s face. However, she looked different. She had red marks around
her yellow eyes.
Selha stood there, paralyzed by the fear and pressure
Kasai was giving off. Noticing how his mother was scared, Shusui charged at
Kasai without a second thought. As Shusui reached Kasai, she placed her hand on
her katana, as if she was ready to draw it. In an instant, she slashed Shusui
millions of times with precision and accuracy.
“Impossible.” Selha thought to herself.
“It’s not impossible, mother. This is my true power. The
power of a Divine Fox.” Kasai said as she walked to Selha.
“Divine fox! That’s a myth. A fairy tale. A children’s
story that I told you to motivate you at your training when you were a young
pup.” Selha said as she backed up in fear.
“Trust me, mother. I’m no myth.” Kasai said as she
powered down.
“Huh,” Selha said, confused.
“Why do you look surprised? I can’t kill my mother. I
wouldn’t be able to look at the people I love if I killed you. Speaking of
which of, Kaiser, I know you’re there. Come on out.” Selha said.
“How may I be of service, my queen?” Kaiser asked as he
walked out of a nearby fire pit.
“I want to resign from this test. Take me in.” She said.
“Me too,” Lucie said as she flew out of the fire pit with
Envy in her arms.
Selha, surprised, looked at Lucie as she flew out of the
Hellfire pit unscathed. As Lucie landed, she placed Envy on the ground. Then,
she placed a hand on Envy’s head and focused her energy on healing Envy’s
burns. Sadly, Lucie was still couldn’t use her powers and couldn’t focus her
powers.
“Lucie, let me try. You’re still getting used to your
powers.” Kasai said as she powered up and walked to Lucie.
“Kasai, you...
“Yeah, I lost control of my full power after you fell in
that fire pit,” Kasai said as she placed her hand on top of Lucie’s hand.
Suddenly, a light shined from their hands, which released
a shockwave of energy. This shockwave of energy healed everybody. Selha saw the
power Lucie, and Kasai has and believed that they were truly all-powerful.
“Queen Lucie and Queen Kasai, please accept my deepest
apologies. I shouldn’t have treated you like...
“Trash... Tools... Trophies. Should I continue?” Lucie
interrupting Selha.
“That won’t be necessary. I regret using my own daughter
as a tool for political reasons. I won’t deny that, but all I wanted was for my
daughter to be safe and protected.”
Kasai looked at her with a confused and angry expression.
“What do you mean?”
“When my daughter was young, she was extremely weak
compared to the other pups her age. She was never interested in her training
sessions with any of her teachers. They all said she wasn’t able to take to any
of the lessons they were teaching. We all thought she was a larmenes, or
mentally challenged. Nothing, but a pretty face for some groom to be. So, I
came up with a plan to arrange a marriage with either one of the three other
Kings or their sons. Unfortunately, Sun Wukong and Ox-king didn’t like my idea
and refused immediately. So, I had no other choice, but to set the marriage
with Garuda.” Selha explained.
“Mother, Stop lying to Lucie. We both know what your true
intentions were back then. But, Thanks to you. I met an amazing master and
husband who treats me like I’m a person. Not a tool.”
“Husband?” Selha, Shusui, and Sui said, confused.
“Yes, Our husband, Reo Amagiri. The current king of
Jan-gu.” Lucie said.
“And, the current head of the Lucrada Clan,” Kaiser said.
Selha, Shusui, Sui showed shocked expressions. Then,
Celestia appeared out of thin air.
“Queen Lucie, I’ve been looking for you.” She said as she
was ready to start a fight.
“Sorry, but I already resigned from the exam,” Lucie
said.
Celestia sighed.
“You’re no fun. But, I think that is for the best. Don’t
want you absorbing the hellfire here.” she said.
“Why?” she asked with a concerned expression.
“There’s no need to worry about that right now. Let’s go
to the arena.” Celestia said, passing it off as she took off into the fiery sky
towards the arena.
“What! No, get back here.” Lucie yelled as she took off
after Celestia.
Kasai and Kaiser both sighed and laughed.
“Congratulations on releasing your true power, Kasai.
Don’t be afraid to ask about your power or for any new equipment,” he said as
he patted her head.
“Thank you, lord Kaiser. I will be sure to ask.” She
replied, smiling.
“Looks like you’re having fun,” Satania said as she
landed beside Kasai.
“No, we were just having a
“Family squabble. You do realize I can sense your and
Lucie’s energy signatures easily. You two really should keep that down. You two
are technically Jan-gu hybrids, so your powers are extremely sensitive. One
mishap, and you could break a hole in the dimensional barrier. Trust me, Hell’s
flames are a lot worse than that stupid spell the humans use. Don't want those
getting out of hell to a place like the human dimension.” she said.
“Speaking of which, why is it bad if Lucie absorbs
Hellfire?” Kasai asked.
“The fires here are filled with demonic energy while the
celestial’s light energy powers Lucie’s flames. If Lucie absorbed these
fires... let just say Envy will no longer be the only one of her kind.”
Kasai stood there, speechless. Then, Kaiser smacked her
on the back.
“Come on... the finalist should be arriving at the arena.
Speaking of which, I think my niece deserves to be one of those thirty.” He
said as he summons a portal under Envy, swallowing her.
”Now, why did you do that?” Satania asked.
”She needs to know what she is capable of doing. And, the
only way of showing her is by letting her fight with restrictions. Besides,
she’s going to need to be ready.”
”For what?”
Kaiser puts a finger over his lips.
After a few hours of running through the hell to the
coliseum, only five made it to the coliseum. They were Raven, Envy, Malphas,
and two other demons from Satan city. Upset and disappointed, Satania scolded
her generals about letting their citizens becoming so weak, failing to realize
that she made the test tougher than usual by asking her family for help. But, truthfully,
she knew exactly why it was like that. She planned this from the start.
However, that didn't change the fact that she needed contestants. Luckily, she
had two, sitting right beside her.
"What! What do you mean we have to continue
competing in the exam? We resigned!” Lucie and Kasai complained simultaneously.
"It's exactly like I said. Since we don't have
enough people to do a proper magic battle, we need seven people to do a magical
performance. All you need to do is show your best spell, and you will be done.”
Satania said.
Lucie and Kasai sighed and agreed to participate. They,
then, left and made their way to the waiting room, where every other contestant
was waiting. Once they got there, they saw Raven and Malphas ready to start a
fight, while Envy tried to stop them. Then, the two demons from Satan city
walked up on Lucie and Kasai.
"Heelloo, ladies! Come to see the winners before the
competition is finished.”
“Of course, they have, bro! They've totally got the hots
for us, bro.”
“I guess that means we should introduce ourselves. My
name is Arcumus.”
“ I'm Dormus.”
"And we're... Bro from different Bros.” They said
simultaneously.
"They must be idiots! Complete idiots.” Lucia and
Kasai thought.
“Sorry guys, we're not here for you,” Kasai said.
”Yeah! The queen asked us to participate in the final
stretch of the exam.” Lucia said.
“Oh really, you two are fighters. Never would've guessed
it.” Arcumus said, arrogantly.
“Yeah, two beautiful girls like yourselves shouldn't
fight. You should be doing your nails or something like those dumb humans
females we trick into giving themselves to us all those centuries ago. Or,
better, how about you go to the mess hall and make me an evening dinner, and
I'll be over later tonight.” Dormus said.
Lucie, aggravated, clenched her fist, and tried to calm
down. Kasai saw this and held Lucie's hand.
“Oh, check it out, bro. We have ourselves a pair of
licky-licky ladies.” Dormus said.
Immediately, Lucie punched Dormus in the face, knocking
him into the back wall.
“Don't you dare call us that incompetent term! We’re the
wives of the king of Jan-gu. Anything besides that would be disrespectful to
the Lucrada clan.” Lucie said.
"The Lucrada clan? Who are they?” Arcumus asked.
"Lucrada clan? Wait, you don't mean the legendary
army of untold beings. It’s said that each one of them had the power of all the
demon generals. But, they're only a myth. A dead legend.” Dormus said as he
held his face.
Lucie and Kasai laughed slightly.
"Army?”
"Uh, excuse me. Is this the waiting room for the
tournament contestants?” A girl said as she walked into the room.
Everyone looked at her with confusion. It was a little
girl, not much older than Rias.
"Yes, but are you supposed to be here? Where are
your parents?” Raven asked.
"Yes, this is exactly where I need to be. And, I
would appreciate it if you wouldn't treat me as a child. I'm a senior at Mammon
High School, and the next in line for the title of demon general.” the girl
said.
"Well, that means you should be strong enough to
keep me entertained,” Raven said while smiling with immense demonic pressure.
“That’s enough of that, Raven. Don't scare the girl too
much.” Satania said while walking into the room with Azazel and Scarlet.
Raven immediately calmed down after hearing her mother’s
voice.
“Your majesty, pardon me, but your daughter will never
intimidate me, especially with that small amount of demonic energy.” the girl
said.
Azazel and Scarlet slightly laughed.
"Alright, it's time to start the tournament. The
rules are simple. You'll be fighting battle royale style. The last one to
survive will win the right to marry my daughter, Raven.” Satania said, happily.
“So, it was you who made that...
Raven and the other contestants disappeared instantly and
reappeared in a dark forest separated from each other. Quick to fight, Malphas,
Arcumus, Dormus, and the girl rushed to find opponents, while the others sat in
one spot waiting for them.
"Wow, I can't believe lady Raven just sat down.
Since, when did she become so tamed? And, to think, I thought I could
“Boy, don’t you dare finish that thought,” Satania said
calmly while slightly releasing her demonic energy.
Scared, Azazel immediately went silent.
"That reminds me. You had some plans to betray our
family, right. Before I kill you, who's the mastermind behind your ridiculous
idea?”
Azazel, then, smiled maliciously. "So, the queen of
demon kind figured out the treachery in her servants,” he said.
"So, you're also betraying us, Scarlet.”
"No, your majesty. I'm always loyal to the crown and
the Lucrada clan.” Scarlet said, worriedly.
“Good, you'll be rewarded with anything you wish.”
“Thank you, milady.”
"As for you, I'll give a single chance. Run away or
tell me what I want to know. Just so you know, the others won't do a single
thing. I, alone, will issue your punishment.”
Immediately, Azazel ran away as fast as he could.
However, Satania didn't move. Satania only sat still, watching the tournament.
Confused, Scarlet turned around and transformed. Her body was covered in black
marks.
"Calm down, Scarlet. Everything has already been
going according to my plan.”
“Milady,”
Then, Scarlet noticed Satania's arm. It was also covered
in black marks. These black marks signify a demon as a high-class devil.
High-class devils are a class of demons that possess outstanding strength and
magical power; they call demonic energy. Some can even manipulate the black
marks on their bodies to fit their needs. And, Satania has complete control
over her black marks. She is even capable of leaving a piece of her mark on
others.
Meanwhile, Dormus and Arcumus encountered Lucie, who was
meditating and focusing on her ki. She didn't want to fight this tournament
using her celestial powers, so she decided to focus on the basics she learned
from Mia.
“So, are you alone, Yuri?” Arcumus said.
Lucie lost focus and released a large amount of power,
clearing a large portion of the forest. Shocked, Dormus and Arcumus stood
paralyzed. However, They noticed her eyes were closed. Slowly, they backed away
in an attempt to get away without her noticing.
"Where do you two think you're going?” Lucie said as
she got up.
Immediately, they ran away, fearing her. Unfortunately,
Lucie was a lot faster than either of them. She appeared in front of them and
punched them in the stomach, causing them to fall to their knees.
“Is this all the power you have? To think I took you two
seriously, I feel foolish.” Lucie said as she walked away. Suddenly, Reo and
Anko appeared in front of her. Immediately, she hugged them.
“Reo, Anko,”
Meanwhile, Arcumus and Dormus got up, but something was
different. Their demonic energy grew to a level that rivals any of the Demon
Generals.
“LUCIE!” Satania yelled out. Sadly, it was too late.
Arcumus and Dormus attacked Lucie from behind.
“Hey, Bro, it seems she lost to us. Do you think we
should take a prize?” Arcumus said with lust in his eyes.
“Well, of course, Bro. It only right that we take a prize
for our hard work” Dormus said with the same look in his eyes.
Furious by the situation, Satania, Celestia, Sol, and
Kaiser got up and made their way to Lucie’s rescue. However, they were stopped
by mindless soldiers.
“Your Majesty, I suggest you sit back down before you and
your guest get killed,” Damacus said as he and his youngest daughter appeared
behind the mindless soldiers.
“So, you’re the person behind the treason. No, you can’t
be. You’re too much of an arrogant idiot to persuade Azazel. But, if not you,
then who?” She said as she looked around. Then, she realized that Selha was
missing.
“Kaiser, where’s Selha?” She asked.
“She and her two children went back to the Youkai
dimension. Apparently, they couldn’t accept the fact that Kasai surpassed her
limits and became their legendary fox goddess. Why?” Kaiser said.
“I- BOOM!
A sudden explosion from the northern and southern gates
of Hell. The northern gates led to Demoria, which is currently filled with
unprotected, innocent demons. The southern gates led to the purgatory, the home
of the worst beings, second only to the inhabitant to Tartaros. They were the
demons who refused to be ruled by Satania when the universe was split by Ira.
They believed that they were superior to her because she was a half-breed, even
though the other half was Jan-gu DNA. However, they didn’t know this until it
was too late. Satania, in an attempt to avoid a civil war, banished and sealed
them in a world she created, Purgatory. A world where they were to be driven
insane while reflecting on what they did to deserve this.
“Kaiser, Sol, Get everyone out of here and get them to
Demoria. Celestia, you get to the contestants and inform them about the
situation. I will delay the escapees as long as I can.” Satania said.
“Did you forget about us, your majesty?” Damacus asked.
“On your knees, when you address a member of the Lucrada
Clan, you Traitorous scum!” Someone yelled from behind them.
Suddenly, Damacus and his youngest daughter were forced
to their knees as if gravity increased. Satania looked at the person behind
them and saw Laracia with her three daughters; Maria, Yuko, and Aria.
“Well, you sure took your precious time. Who are they?”
“Right, you haven’t met them. These three are my
daughters: Maria, Aria, and Yuko.” Laracia said.
“What! You mean these three are your daughter you thought
died in Wallachia.”
"Yeah, they are my precious little girls.”
“Please don't call me that,” Yuko said, creating a quiet
mood amongst them.
"So, I see she shares your great personality,”
Satania said, sarcastically.
"Not funny,” Laracia said.
“Anyway, what going on?” Maria asked.
“Nothing too big, just hunting down some traitors and
saving my people from the savage demons of purgatory. Laracia, you and I are
going to hold off the demons. The triplets should go find their ladies before
the worst happens.” Satania said.
“Right,” They all said before disappearing.
Meanwhile, Arcumus and Dormus were ripping Lucie’s
clothes off, but they were regenerating as quickly. As time went by, they were
getting frustrated.
“F**k this,” Arcumus said as he summoned fireballs in his
hands. Dormus stopped him and pulled him away.
“Bro, stop. We don’t want to kill her yet. We want to-
Suddenly, Dormus felt a chilling feeling run down his back.
Then, he turned around and saw a woman picking up Lucie’s body. And, before he
could react, the woman sliced him and Arcumus into tiny pieces, killing them.
Located on the opposite side of the forest, Kasai is
fighting against her mother, brother, and sister. Strangely, she wasn’t using
her strength to her fullest. It was like her power was being sucked out by
something. She was almost weak as a newborn Kitsune pup. Fortunate for Selha
and her other children, Kasai was close to falling unconscious from her power
being sucked out. As time wore down Kasai’s strength, Selha took advantag and
attacked a kitsune’s weak spot, the little spot between the shoulder blades.
Attacking this spot allows a person to easily separate a Kitsune’s power from
their body, causing them to fall unconscious.
“Alright, take her back to the castle and help her
prepare for her wedding,” Selha said.
“Wedding?”
“Yes, Garuda has been waiting for centuries for his wife.
And, he can’t wait any longer.” Selha said.
Shusui and Sui picked up Kasai and carried her off into a
portal, Selha opened with her Lucrada clan ring. Then, she closed the portal
hoping that she could get away with the betrayal she committed towards the
Lucrada clan.
Meanwhile, Satania and Laracia land in front of a huge
horde of black creatures with sharp claws and teeth. Their shrieks were similar
to babies crying for help. And, each one’s shriek was loud enough to spread
throughout Hell.
“Woah, what did you do to them?” Laracia asked.
“I didn’t do a single thing to them. Purgatory transforms
beings into this by amplifying the negative emotions in their soul. And, for
demons, those negative emotions are potent.” Satania said.
Suddenly, three of the Purgatory escapees stabbed Satania
through the heart with their sharp claws. Then, one of them slashes at Laracia
with an ax, created from its hand. However, Laracia was able to dodge it at the
last moment. Then, she punched the same escapee, sending it back into the
horde.
“Hey sis, stop playing with the fools and finish them
off.” She said.
Satania sighed and said “You make it seem like I wasn’t
just stabbed in the heart. You know that hurts. Hell, some vampires even die
from getting stabbed through the heart, right.”
“Okay, you have a point, but you could’ve easily dodged
those slow movements,” Laracia said as she kicked in front of her, causing a
shockwave that destroyed many of the escapees.
“Seriously, I would’ve thought my twin sister would understand
the reasons to play with the opponents while fighting,” Satania said as she
knocks one of the escapees off.
Laracia, then, starts to laugh. “You sound just like
Vladimir. I guess he rubbed off on you.”
Immediately, Satania stops fighting. “What?” She says as
she releases a shockwave that destroyed the majority of the purgatory escapees,
while the other ran back into through the gate back to purgatory.
“How could say something so cruel to me? What kind of
sister are you? Comparing me to our older brother, who can’t take anything
seriously,”
“Well, I would say he doesn’t take anything seriously.
But, He does care about his family.”
“Yeah, but that doesn’t give him an excuse to do the
things he has done.”
“Are you still mad about the massacre of those humans?
They attacked us first and killed our niece. That village of humans betrayed
both our kindness and our trust. Not to mention, I’ve lost my daughters for
thousands of years. Do you really believe that our actions were uncaused for?”
“Of course not. If anything, you should’ve invited me.
What upsets me is that he gave me the responsibility of the most stubborn,
idiotic, and destructive beings! Do you know what kind of stress these people
gave me? They attacked and raped...ENVY!” Satania yelled as she took off into
the skies.
Meanwhile, Envy is running away from the demons from
Mammon City. They both were carrying scythes that radiated demon energy, which
sharpened its blade to the point where it would cut the trees as they ran by
them. Struggling, Envy looked at her surroundings for a place to hide. Then, she suddenly fell down a hole, which
lead to a icy cavern. Inside, she seen many statues of demons.
“Who are you?” A voice said.
